Martha Ortiz

Martha C. Ortiz is a successful woman that was raised in New York, NY where she graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School in 1984. She attended La Guardia college and studied business administration and Psychology. Martha later attended Queens college where she completed her political science, nutrition, and astrology course. Adding to her success, in 1990 she pursued her computer processing specialist degree at SCS in Queens, NY. In 1992 she obtained her Chiropractic Assistant license in the state of New York and in the State of Florida in 2003.

Martha continues to enhance her education and knowledge in the Insurance Coding and Billing for Medical Office since 1989. After dedicating 15 years to the healthcare industry in Queens, NY Martha relocated to the State of Florida in December of 1999 where she founded in 2004 a multi-disciplinary medical facility called Sunshine State Medical Inc. 17 years later Martha and Sunshine State Medical Inc continues to serve the community of Central Florida also hosting for Cuenta Conmigo Radio Show since 2014.

All her passion and dedication has not gone without notice. Since 2009-2011, she was recognized The National Association of Professional Women of the year and a collaboration recognition from Marta Jaramillo, the General Consul of Colombia in Miami. January of 2012 Martha was awarded the First Hand & Heart annual award from Feed & Fortify and in 2013 she also received a certificate of appreciation from the Centro de Ayuda Hispana. Continuing to build her empire, Sunshine State Medical Inc and Martha Ortiz were recognized in 2017 as the Business/Merchant of the Year by Gateway Orlando District and the Proclamation of the City of Orlando – Office of the Mayor by the Commissioner Tony Ortiz District 2 and Mayor Buddy Dyer in 2019.
