You must keep the original Form I-693 and the envelope from the civil surgeon until we make a final decision on your Form I-485. We may review the original Form I-693 and envelope during an interview or ask you to submit the original Form I-693 and envelope as evidence to support your application. How long does it take to complete the process for the i-693 medical exam?

• We need to see you at the clinic at least 2 times. the initial visit to do the paperwork, labs and doctor visit and one sign and pick up the paperwork.
• The patient can pick up the sealed envelope in 5-7 days if the labs return normal and we have all the required vaccine records or proofs.
  
• Some patients require an additional chest x-ray or medical treatment if the blood or urine test come back positive delaying the process.
